Kitchen Pendant Lighting,
Big Light In A Tiny Package

Kitchen pendant lighting comes in every shape, size, and color under the sun. If you have a different decorating style a pendant could be right down your alley.

From tradition to the most extreme contemporary design, pendants can make everyone happy.

Visit Lighting By Gregoryicon for more pendant lighting options.

Pendants are a fabulous way to add light to an island, breakfast area, a cooktop, or peninsula countertop. Put them on a dimmer and the toned down light can help set the perfect mood.

You can even put one or two of these lights over a kitchen sink. So, instead of having the "usual", you can have a different style of light in the sink area. Think how many times you have seen pendants over a kitchen sink; I bet it's not very often, if at all.

These little beauties come in designer hand painted designs which will make people look and say WOW nice lights. You'll be the envy of the neighborhood.

Pendants can shine up or down depending on the light. If they shine up the light will bounce off of the ceiling and be a more general lighting. If they shine down they become a task lighting.

The proper placement of a pendant is a personal choice, but when two people stand on opposite sides they should be able to see each other without bending over.

This rule is not set in stone and you should do whatever your heart desires, just something to think about. Just keep in mind if they are placed over a cooktop they should be set high enough so they don't get too hot.

These lights are a great choice for any kitchen. If there is a room over the kitchen, the wiring may be difficult after the kitchen is installed. It would be a good idea in a new kitchen to pre-wire the lights even if you decide not to have them. You never know, the future might hold one of these little gems.
