The wall mounted racks allow you to store spices in an unused area of your kitchen. The biggest negative to this style of rack is the spices are exposed to light. Which in turn will decrease the shelf life of those spices. But there are spice bottles that block much of the light from getting to the spices. The most common materials used to make these racks are metal, plastic, wood, and acrylic. I would recommend only using the wood and metal racks for storing over 18 spice bottles. And because spices are very lightweight normally only one screw is needed to actually attach the rack to the wall. Easy for anyone to install, and you'll be up and "cooking" in no time. Overall the wall mounted rack is a great way to store spices, and because it's so easy to install. Plus the larger racks can hold many spices.
